ah i do use a mooncup, absolutely a million times better than tampons per se (cheaper, cleaner, more effective, comfortable, smell free, eco)
BUT
not easier in terms of dexterity - the movements are larger (no fiddly paper to peel for example) but need to be firmer i find (eg to twist as well as pull/push)
hence emergency visit to gp for extraction of one this year, during a flare. mind you, i'd really done a number on that one, dearly beloved couldn't rescue it for me either!
that was a very bad/limited movement flare though. i'd say give it a go as it's a very specific set of movements, it may/not challenge the way your hads are!
